The World Homeopathy Day 2024 conference, themed "Empowering Research, Enhancing Proficiency", spotlighted the importance of scientific research for homeopathy's acceptance.
The World Homeopathy Day 2024 witnessed a two-day scientific convention themed "Empowering Research, Enhancing Proficiency", organized by the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy (CCRH). The event centered on advancing scientific research and promoting the integration of homeopathy with other medical systems.
Inaugurating the convention, President Droupadi Murmu underscored the necessity for scientific validation of homeopathy to broaden its acceptance. "Scientific rigor will bolster confidence in this method of treatment among people," she emphasized. President Murmu also highlighted the significance of research and enhancing the education system to attract young students to homeopathy.
Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary of the Ministry of Ayush, affirmed the government's commitment to fostering research and integrating homeopathy with other medical systems. "We are actively promoting research in homeopathy and allocating resources for clinical trials and evidence-based studies," he stated.
Dr. Subhash Kaushik, Director General of CCRH, emphasized the importance of evidence-based research in homeopathy. The convention featured talks and panel discussions covering various topics related to research, education, and integration of homeopathy.
