Unofin partners with makeO to offer no-cost EMI solutions for dental and skincare treatments, enhancing affordability and accessibility at makeO’s 25 centers in India.
Unofin, the healthcare-focused division of fintech startup LoanTap, has announced a strategic partnership with makeO, a clinical beauty platform encompassing the dental brand Toothsi and skincare brand Skinnsi. This collaboration aims to provide no-cost EMI solutions to customers at makeO’s 25 centers across India using LoanTap’s QR-based loan system.
The partnership between Unofin and makeO seeks to make advanced dental and skincare treatments more accessible by addressing financial barriers. Unofin, acquired by LoanTap in 2023, focuses on affordable and accessible healthcare financing. The integration of Unofin’s technology enables customers to transform medical bills into manageable EMIs and guarantees payments to healthcare providers within 24 hours.
LoanTap’s QR-based loan system facilitates the easy conversion of medical expenses into no-cost EMIs, ensuring that customers can afford necessary treatments without financial strain. This system is set to be implemented across makeO’s 25 centers, making advanced dental and skincare treatments more accessible to a broader audience.
Soumya Arora, Senior Vice President at LoanTap, emphasized the significance of this partnership: “Our goal is to leverage makeO’s customer base and LoanTap’s QR-based financing to create an ecosystem where each customer can get the treatment they need without financial worries.”
Pritesh Desai, Business Head at Toothsi, echoed this sentiment: “This collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission to make advanced dental and skincare treatments accessible to everyone. By removing financial barriers, we can ensure that our customers receive the best possible care without the stress of high costs usually associated with expert-led aligner and skincare treatments.”
