TechEagle wins a tender to establish a 104 km drone delivery corridor for AIIMS Guwahati, aiming to revolutionize healthcare logistics in the region.

In a groundbreaking development, TechEagle has successfully secured the AIIMS Guwahati tender for a 104 km drone delivery corridor, marking a significant leap forward in healthcare logistics. The selection process highlighted TechEagle's operational expertise and technical capabilities, particularly their deployment of long-range Vertiplane X3 drones, which outshone competitors.

During the rigorous selection process, TechEagle showcased its superior technology, demonstrating the ability to operate over extreme conditions, such as those present in the North Eastern States. In December 2022, the company launched a similar Drone Delivery Network in Meghalaya, in collaboration with the Government of Meghalaya and The World Bank.

The key factors that contributed to TechEagle's success in winning the contract included precise location identification, superfast execution, and real-time monitoring. Their proven track record in the region played a crucial role in convincing the evaluators at AIIMS Guwahati.

Professor Ashok Puranik, Executive Director of AIIMS Guwahati, emphasized the significance of the project, stating, "This project aims to revolutionize healthcare logistics and make it accessible at the grassroots level." The drones will be utilized to transport medicines to Community Health Centres (CHCs) and Primary Health Centres (PHCs) near AIIMS Guwahati. Additionally, essential samples such as blood, urine, and sputum will be efficiently transferred from these centres to AIIMS for necessary testing.
Vikram Singh Meena, Founder & CEO of TechEagle, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "This is going to be our second Drone Delivery Hub in NorthEast India." He highlighted the positive impact they have been creating in Meghalaya for over a year and emphasized their commitment to expanding such hubs nationwide, making logistics accessible to remote parts of the country.

This achievement is a significant step towards replacing ground logistics with an aerial network. As Assam holds a central position among the seven northeastern states, the successful implementation of this project is expected to facilitate the movement of goods and people across the region. TechEagle has ambitious plans to set up more hubs catering to e-commerce and hyperlocal enterprises, ultimately creating a network of aerial logistics services across the state. The launch of this project is eagerly anticipated in the coming days, marking a game-changing moment in the field of drone delivery and healthcare logistics.
