Supriya Lifescience - KIIT Develops Quickblue Oral Kit for Early Oral Cancer Detection
Learn about the groundbreaking collaboration between Supriya Lifescience and KIIT University in developing the Quickblue oral kit for early oral cancer detection.

Supriya Lifescience has partnered with Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, to create the Quickblue oral kit for detecting oral cancer. The company has initiated the patent application process for the Quickblue oral kit, which aims to streamline the detection process of oral cancer.

Dr. Satish Wagh, Chairman of Supriya Lifescience, claims that the Quickblue oral kit could significantly reduce costs associated with oral cancer detection by eliminating the need for multiple biopsies for non-healing oral ulcers.

“The high prevalence of oral cancer, with millions of cases reported globally, underscores the importance of early detection. This product is particularly relevant in India and the Asian sub-continent, where a significant percentage of oral cancer patients are found. Early detection of cancer is crucial for improving treatment outcomes, and the Quickblue oral kit can contribute to saving lives by identifying oral cancer at an early stage. The development of the Quickblue oral kit is a promising advancement in the field of healthcare, with the potential to make oral cancer detection more accessible, cost-effective, and lifesaving. It addresses a critical healthcare need and underscores the importance of innovation in the pharma and healthcare industry”, he added.
Dr Wagh also mentions, “The development of an oral cancer detection kit is in line with Supriya Lifescience’s vision of manufacturing niche products to meet unmet medical needs. This initiative represents a step towards diversifying the product portfolio of Supriya Lifescience. The company aims to expand and scale to new heights over the next decade.”
