Stryker has introduced its Tornier shoulder arthroplasty portfolio in India, unveiling the groundbreaking Humeral Stem at the recent Shoulder Conclave in Pune.

Aman Rishi, Vice President and General Manager of Stryker India, highlighted the precision and personalized approach offered by Tornier Perform shoulder implants and Blueprint planning software, aiming to redefine shoulder care in the Indian market.

The new Tornier Perform Humeral Stem, elevated by Blueprint planning software and the Tornier Perform anatomic and reverse glenoid, provides clinical solutions for a wide range of shoulder arthroplasty cases, from simple to complex.

Designed for use in anatomic, reverse, and hemiarthroplasty of the shoulder, it allows for conversion from an anatomic to a reverse shoulder prosthesis in revision cases.

With four collar diameters and multiple lengths, the Tornier Perform Humeral Stem offers versatility to optimize humeral fit, particularly addressing challenges in smaller patient anatomies. Compatible with the full line of standard and augmented Perform glenoid options, the stem ensures a tailored fit to the patient's unique anatomy.

Surgeons benefit from Blueprint planning software, enabling them to pre-plan Perform cases and undergo real-time, precise virtual surgery for enhanced confidence before entering the operating room.

Aman Rishi expressed excitement about bringing these innovative products to India, stating, "We are excited about introducing these products to India and bringing our mission of making healthcare better to life."
