Strand Life Sciences introduces new instrumentation, including Illumina NovaSeq X Plus genome sequencer and Biomek i7 Automated Liquid Handler, to improve automation and efficiency in handling larger volumes of work.

The Illumina NovaSeq X Plus can produce up to 16 Terabases of data in a single run at a lower cost per base. The Beckman Coulter Biomek i7 Automated Liquid Handler streamlines the process by automating sample preparation and improving repeatability.

With these advanced upgrades, Strand will be able to provide doctors and patients with cost-efficient sequencing diagnostics. Additionally, they will be able to meet the rising demand for research and preventive testing, further solidifying their position as a leading player in the field of genomics.
