SaveIN, a healthcare-fintech platform, partners with Aura Hearing and the Centre for Hearing to provide affordable hearing aids in India, addressing the growing demand for hearing aids among millions of individuals.

The global hearing aids market is expected to reach $17.68 billion by 2029, with an 8.1% CAGR from 2022–2029. In India, the digital hearing aids market is predicted to grow from $0.44 billion in 2022 to $0.78 billion by 2030, with a 7.5% CAGR from 2023–2030. This growth highlights the need for affordable solutions in the country.

Almost 7% of India's 1.4 billion population experiences significant auditory impairment, making hearing loss the most common sensory deficit in the country. However, less than 0.5 percent of the population has actively addressed their hearing impairment. Jitin Bhasin, Founder and CEO, SaveIN said -

“The high cost of hearing aids, ranging from Rs 25,000 to over Rs 3 lakh depending on factors like hearing loss extent, age, and device type, makes them inaccessible for many individuals and their families. Health insurance plans also do not cover the cost of hearing aids, leaving people to fend for themselves.”

SaveIN, founded in January 2022 by Jitin Bhasin and Gaurav Luthra, aims to provide affordable healthcare solutions to individuals. Y-Combinator supports the startup, which offers a platform for EMI payments. With over 4,000 healthcare providers in 100+ cities, SaveIN plans to reach 15,000 partners by the end of the current financial year.

SaveIN has partnered with Aura Hearing Care and the Center for Hearing to offer services on the platform. Aura and Center provide tailored hearing aids, aiming to reach a broader audience and increase accessibility for those in need.

Anup Singh Anand, co-founder and executive director of the Center for Hearing, said -

“The partnership enables us to expand our reach and ensure more individuals have access to high-quality hearing care services.”

Naitik Shah, founder and MD of Aura Hearing Care, said -
