HCG ICS Khubchandani Cancer Center in Mumbai, India, performed a life-changing procedure by replacing the entire thigh bone of a young Bangladeshi patient with sarcoma.

A specialised team of doctors at HCG ICS Khubchandani Cancer Center successfully treated a 29-year-old sarcoma patient by implanting a metallic prosthesis to replace his entire left thigh bone. Leading the multidisciplinary team was Dr. Haresh Manglani, the Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Oncosurgeon at HCG ICS Khubchandani Cancer Center, who ensured that the surgery would restore the patient's mobility and allow him to lead a normal life.

Raman, the patient from Bangladesh, received a bone cancer diagnosis and had previously received treatment in his home country.
