Qure.ai Launches AIRA: AI Co-Pilot to Transform Healthcare in Low-Income Nations
AIRA by Qure.ai boosts primary healthcare in LMICs with AI-driven tools for data collection, clinical support, and health system efficiency.

Qure.ai has unveiled AIRA, its latest AI-driven co-pilot, designed to aid frontline healthcare professionals in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). The tool was launched during the 78th World Health Assembly in Geneva, with the goal of enhancing healthcare delivery in resource-limited settings.

AIRA is engineered to streamline healthcare workflows by digitising symptom tracking and patient histories, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and providing comprehensive insights into population health trends. This tool aims to ease the administrative load that often consumes over 40% of community health workers' time, enabling them to focus more on patient care.

Qure.ai highlights that LMICs face an urgent healthcare crisis, with 17 million preventable deaths and an expected shortfall of 11 million healthcare workers by 2030. AIRA addresses this by automating data collection and supporting clinical decision-making.

CEO and Founder Prashant Warier stated that AIRA has the potential to significantly boost health equity by improving efficiency and maximizing the impact of healthcare investments. He emphasized that, just as Qure.ai has transformed TB care over the past decade, AIRA now aims to revolutionize primary care.

Dr. Michel Sidibé of the African Union stressed that LMICs must deliver quality care on tight budgets and highlighted AI and digital health as key enablers for scalable, efficient solutions.

Powered by Large Language Models, AIRA is tailored to the unique challenges of LMIC health systems, marking a significant step toward smarter, more accessible healthcare.
