Quality Council of India Inaugurates NABL and NABH Offices in Bengaluru

In a significant milestone for promoting quality standards in the region, the Quality Council of India (QCI) has inaugurated the offices of the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL)
The National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL) and the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) recently established offices in Bengaluru under the Quality Council of India (QCI).
The National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL) and National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) opened offices in Bengaluru under the auspices of the Quality Council of India (QCI) to advance quality standards.
Along with dignitaries from other organizations, the event was attended by Jaxay Shah, QCI Chairperson, Dr. Ravi P Singh, QCI Secretary General, Prof. Subbanna Ayyappan, NABL Chairperson, N Venkateswaran, CEO, NABL, and Dr. A Raj, NBQP CEO.
This new office will help QCI connect with government departments, state organizations, associations, industry players, and stakeholders in the region, increasing awareness and engagement. Jaxay Shah emphasized that expanding QCI’s presence across states would build partnerships for prompt response and grievance redressal. He also urged the Government of Karnataka to collaborate with QCI to improve citizens’ quality of life.
Prof Subbanna Ayyappan stated that the Bengaluru Office extension would improve coordination and uplift quality standards in laboratories and testing facilities. N Venkateswaran expressed NABL’s goal to bring about a quality change within the state and enhance the status of regional testing and calibration laboratories. Dr A Raj emphasized the importance of ingraining quality in India’s DNA to become a developed nation by its centenary.
