Oracle unveiled innovative features that combine generative AI and voice technology, allowing healthcare providers to improve patient engagement and trust.

Patients can now use voice commands to access clinical information, schedule appointments, and more, improving healthcare accessibility and convenience.

Suhas Uliyar, senior vice president of product management, Oracle Health said,

“By bringing comprehensive generative AI and voice-first capabilities to our HER platforms, we are not only helping providers reduce mundane work that leads to burnout, but we are also empowering them to create better interactions with patients that establish trust, build loyalty, and deliver better outcomes.”

Oracle’s Clinical Digital Assistant responds to voice commands from providers, simplifying access to patient information like MRI results in a user-friendly manner. This solution will be accessible within a year, offering healthcare organizations enhanced productivity, cost reduction, improved decision-making, and better patient care.

“The new capabilities added to Oracle Fusion Applications Suite will help healthcare organizations adopt new business models, embrace rapid innovation, build agile and sustainable supply chains, and better serve patients’ needs – now and in the future.”

Oracle has introduced workforce management features in its Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) for healthcare organizations, including Oracle Workforce Scheduling and Oracle Workforce Labor Optimization, which integrate business and electronic health record data for advanced scheduling and labor management.
