Women-centric health and wellness startup Newmi Care has successfully raised Rs 12.58 crore in seed funding, with the round led by Sprout Venture Partners. Other participants in the round include a family office, angel investment platform LetsVenture, Sarcha Advisors, Key Ventures Forum, and several angel investors.

Newmi Care addresses a wide range of women’s health issues, including menstrual, sexual, hormonal, fertility, maternity, menopause, and reproductive organ cancers. The startup collaborates with major insurers to provide insurance products for women-specific outpatient department (OPD). Since its inception, Newmi Care has reportedly served over 60,000 women across more than 400 cities and operates 10 clinics in the Delhi NCR region.

The capital will be utilized to establish women’s clinics in northern and western India, while also focusing on advancing the startup’s technology, driving product innovation, and expanding its team. Founded in May 2022, Newmi Care offers a comprehensive platform for women’s healthcare, covering consultations, diagnostics, medications, health tracking, and product shopping all through a single interface. 

In a joint statement, founders Sanchit Agarwal and Aditi Mittal expressed their commitment to making outpatient care more accessible to women in India, with a vision to scale women’s healthcare nationwide. Sahil Gupta, a partner at Sprout Venture Partners, emphasized the growing potential of the women’s healthcare market, highlighting the firm’s belief in the long-term opportunity within this space.
