Molbio Diagnostics has forged a partnership with Testi Technologies, a Finnish innovation company, to manufacture and distribute PROMILLESS—a pioneering saliva-based diagnostic test designed to measure body alcohol content.

PROMILLESS, developed in collaboration with VTT (Technical Research Centre of Finland), is a CE-approved class 1 device. This user-friendly, cost-effective self-diagnostics test, patented globally, employs a self-test alcohol strip that detects alcohol content in saliva, indicating whether it surpasses or remains below the specified threshold level. Intended for over-the-counter use, it targets both consumer and law enforcement applications.

Tommi Vaskivuo, Chairman of Testi Technologies, expressed optimism about the partnership, blending Testi's innovative enzymatic test technology with Molbio Diagnostics' robust technological capabilities and expansive global network. Under the terms of the agreement, Molbio will hold rights for the global commercialization, marketing, and sale of PROMILLESS under its own brand name.
