Medanta and GE Healthcare join forces to launch Medanta e-ICU in India, a tele-ICU project aimed at revolutionizing critical care with advanced technology and expert consultation.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a command centre for real-time patient monitoring, enabling early interventions. The platform, combining Medanta's expertise and GE Healthcare's advanced technology, improves ICU teams' decision-making, resulting in exceptional clinical outcomes.
The command centre enables hospital system integration with devices, increasing efficiency, collaboration, patient care, and cost reduction. Medanta's closed, super-specialized critical care medicine team supports service delivery, applying globally accepted best practices to ensure the highest standard of care for patients.
Dr Naresh Trehan, Chairman & Managing Director, Medanta said,
“Infrastructural gaps in critical care are more pronounced with limited resources in districts and smaller towns. Through this association with GE HealthCare, we aim to offer valuable lifesaving digital/tele-ICU services. The platform will provide continuous 24×7 advanced consultation, care, and monitoring to critically ill patients without having to physically transfer them to a super-specialty hospital, enhancing a healthcare professional’s capability to treat and consult more patients.”
