HYPERARC, a cutting-edge Linac-based technique, was used on a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator with a 2.5-mm leaf-width Millennium Multi-Leaf Collimator (MLC). Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) was planned using highly conformal non-coplanar beams, ensuring sub-mm accuracy and precision. Surprisingly, they completed this complex procedure in minutes with a single click, thanks to 3D Image Guidance technology.

HYPERARC-VMAT has proven its ability to achieve low-dose brain spillage and conformity compared to Gamma Knife/Cyberknife, while also drastically reducing treatment time. Typically, Gamma Knife or Cyberknife SRS techniques require 45-60 minutes for treatment, but in contrast, HYPERARC completes the entire procedure in just 5 minutes.
