Ishanya Foundation (IsFon), the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Deepak Fertilisers And Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (DFPCL), has unveiled a significant healthcare initiative in Taloja.

The organization has introduced a mobile clinic and an Ishanya Pathology Sample Collection Centre with the aim of providing affordable and quality healthcare services directly to the local communities of Taloja and its surrounding areas.

The collaborative effort includes Mahadhan Agritech Limited and NDC Pathology Diagnostic Pvt Ltd based in Devichapada.

The mobile clinic, equipped with a certified medical team, will traverse 41 villages around Taloja, offering both preventive and curative healthcare services.

The 'Ishanya Pathology Sample Collection Centre,' established in partnership with NDC Pathology Diagnostic, is set to substantially reduce diagnostic test costs, providing economic relief for disadvantaged patients by up to 80 to 90 percent.

Parul Mehta, Founder-Trustee of Ishanya Foundation, inaugurated both initiatives, with the ceremony attended by key figures such as Santosh Thete from MIDC Panvel Divisional Office, Dr. Vikrant Bhalerao, Deputy Collector, and Avinash Kaldate, Senior PI of Taloja Police Station.

Expressing her thoughts, Mehta stated, "Through the Mobile Clinic and Ishanya Pathology Sample Collection Centre, we will be providing affordable and quality healthcare and diagnostic services. It's a step forward in ensuring equitable access to healthcare."
