The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur's (IITK) Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC) joined forces with Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS) in Saifai, Etawah, sealing a pivotal partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked on August 26th, 2023.
Prof. Ankush Sharma, overseeing Innovation and Incubation at IIT Kanpur, and Prof. (Dr) Prabhat Kumar Singh, Vice Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, were the signatories to this collaborative endeavor.
This groundbreaking alliance aims to spearhead advancements in non-invasive medical devices, leveraging the combined expertise of both institutions. UPUMS will play a crucial role in facilitating essential clinical trials for these devices, steering them towards practical applications that benefit patients.
