Hiranandani Hospital Hosts Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

In a significant breast cancer awareness initiative, Hiranandani Hospital in Powai, Mumbai, organized a walk with over a thousand participants, including local residents and non-government organizations.
A breast cancer awareness walk was held at 0Powai Hospital in Mumbai, involving over a thousand participants, including local residents and non-government organizations like GoRun Club and Sindhi Samaj.
The hospital and its NGO partners held an event in October, highlighting the importance of mammograms in the fight against breast cancer, highlighting the rising incidence of breast cancer among Indian women, with the risk ratio increasing from one in 26 to one in 22.
Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani, the Co-founder and Managing Director of the Dr. LH Hiranandani Hospital Group, and Dr. Sujit Chatterjee, the CEO of Dr. LH Hiranandani Hospital, graced the event with their presence.
On this occasion, Dr Namita Pandey – Breast Onco-Surgeon at Dr LH Hiranandani Hospital, said. “Early detection is the key to getting over it and for that – ‘Breast SELF Examination’ and ‘Regular Screening at the Clinic’ are two very important factors.”
