Discover GenWorks' innovative mechanical hysteroscopic system, revolutionizing intrauterine procedures with safety and efficiency.
The mechanical hysteroscopic tissue removal system from GenWorks, a provider of healthcare solutions, was recently introduced with the goal of making the hysteroscopic procedure simple and minimally invasive. The system uses a straightforward mechanical technique to remove intrauterine tissues, providing better access and better results.
During the hysteroscopy procedure, the system follows these steps: it inserts the hysteroscope into the uterus, distends the uterus with saline, locates the intrauterine abnormality, places the shaver against the pathology, aspirates and cuts tissue, and finally removes the shaver and hysteroscope from the uterus.
Direct visualization of the intrauterine cavity is made possible by the system, which also shows effective tissue removal abilities. It captures all the tissue required for pathological analysis. The soft tissue shavers also respect pathology at its core and facilitate tissue capture for histological confirmation by cutting and aspirating simultaneously.
The system offers a safe and gentle resection, eliminating the risk of energy discharge, and the proprietary suction control minimizes fluid use. It ensures a clear operative field with continuous hysteroscopic outflow, preventing tissue from floating within the uterine cavity. The process proves efficient as it involves a single insertion and a few procedural steps, enabling targeted removal under continuous visualization.
This minimally invasive system has demonstrated quicker and more effective removal of endometrial fibroids and polyps. When using the mechanical hysteroscopic tissue removal system, the average procedure time for polyps and fibroids removal is relatively shorter. Notably, the system has been employed in over 1,40,000 procedures to date.
