Galaxy Health Insurance has launched its flagship product, the license, offering coverage options ranging from ₹3 lakh to ₹1 crore. This innovative plan is tailored to address the rising healthcare costs in India while catering to the diverse needs of families. Jointly promoted by Venu Srinivasan of the TVS family and V. Jagannathan’s family, Galaxy Health Insurance received its IRDAI licence earlier this year and has already positioned itself as a promising player in the industry.

The Galaxy Promise Plan is available in three variants—Signature, Elite, and Premier—designed to provide comprehensive and customizable protection. One of its standout features is the Unlimited Restoration of Sum Insured, allowing multiple claims within a policy year to ensure ongoing financial security for both new and recurring health conditions.

To promote affordability, the plan includes the Premium Promise, which locks in premium rates until age 55 or until the first claim. Additionally, it provides enhanced coverage for room rent, ICU charges (including digital ICU), and advanced treatments such as robotic surgery. Its inclusivity shines through women-centric benefits, covering assisted reproduction treatments, in-utero fetal surgery, and newborn care.

Other notable features include a two-year premium waiver for voluntary organ donors and the Gala Fit Program, which offers personalized wellness plans and renewal discounts of up to 20%. Policyholders also benefit from reduced waiting periods for pre-existing conditions and extended pre- and post-hospitalization coverage.
