FUJIFILM India Launches Breast Cancer Screening Campaign

In a determined effort to promote early breast cancer detection, FUJIFILM India initiated its "Find It Early, Fight It Early" campaign at Dr. Suraj Prakash Arogya Kendra in Faridabad.
The campaign aims to defy the stigma surrounding breast cancer and will extend to 19 cities in collaboration with 35 advanced diagnostic centers equipped with the state-of-the-art digital mammography solution – Amulet.
FUJIFILM India, dedicated to reaching over 90,000 women annually, emphasizes accessibility with no-cost screenings, contributing to equitable healthcare.
The initiative focuses on women aged 30 to 65, targeting urban slums and lower-income communities, with the goal of significantly enhancing breast cancer detection and early intervention.
Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director of FUJIFILM India, expressed, “The ‘Find It Early, Fight It Early On-Ground Campaign’ is an effort of FUJIFILM India to propagate the importance of early detection and periodic screening of lifestyle diseases."
The program employs various tools, including projectors for video education, informational materials, and an electronic screening application for beneficiary data. A Learning Management System facilitates staff training and electronic counseling, ensuring a comprehensive and impactful approach.
Chander Shekhar Sibal, HOD & Vice President of Healthcare Business at FUJIFILM India, emphasized, “Starting today, every step we take will be in the direction of making this activation successful – where success means propelling the importance of early detection, pursuing women to step up, get screened, and Find It Early and Fight It Early.”
Partnering with Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre for an ad campaign last month, FUJIFILM India continues its commitment to breast cancer advocacy, portraying the importance of early detection in the fight against cancer.
