Managed care provider Even Healthcare has raised ₹252 Crore in a Series A funding round led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from Founders Fund, 8VC, and Lachy Groom. This funding round brings the company’s total funding to ₹420 Crore, earmarked to expand hospital operations, scale patient care, and improve healthcare processes.
Founded in 2020 by Mayank Banerjee, Matilde Giglio, and Alessandro Ialongo, Even Healthcare provides free consultations, diagnostic tests, and cashless hospitalization through an in-house clinical team and a network of partner clinics and insurance providers. Serving hundreds of thousands of members, Even’s offerings include unlimited consultations for episodic care, lifestyle management, and chronic conditions. For an annual fee of ₹4,800, members can access these services, with optional health insurance add-ons for hospital coverage.
Looking forward, Even Healthcare plans to open three secondary-care hospitals in Bengaluru to create an integrated “payvider” (payer + provider) model. “By managing hospital operations, we can enhance the continuity of patient care from consultation to treatment, optimizing outcomes through early risk assessment and managed care,” said co-founder Mayank Banerjee. This approach aligns with the company's mission of offering seamless, comprehensive care and reducing hospitalizations through proactive health management.
