Entitled Solutions and Telangana State TB Cell collaborate to launch eKure, a revolutionary healthtech platform aimed at improving healthcare accessibility.
Entitled Solutions, in collaboration with the Telangana State TB Cell, has taken a significant stride towards improving healthcare accessibility for underserved communities with the launch of eKure, a healthtech platform aimed at revolutionizing healthcare delivery.
The unveiling of an early tuberculosis screening tool marks the first milestone in eKure's mission to empower vulnerable populations with access to essential healthcare services. Developed as part of PSI’s Samagra project, the platform utilizes innovative technology solutions to facilitate early detection and treatment of tuberculosis (TB), a disease that continues to pose significant public health challenges globally.
With India grappling with a high burden of TB cases, the introduction of eKure's screening tool aligns with the objectives of the National TB Elimination Program (NTEP). The tool employs user-friendly interfaces, including interactive multilingual WhatsApp bots, to enable preliminary TB detection, connect individuals with doctor teleconsultations, provide affordable health products, and disseminate credible disease-specific information to at-risk communities.
Anshul Khurana, Co-founder and CEO of Entitled Solutions, emphasized the importance of leveraging digital technology to address healthcare disparities, particularly among marginalized groups. He stated, "Despite government efforts, healthcare access remains uneven, especially for TB patients in the unorganized sector. Our partnership with the Telangana State TB Cell aims to bridge this gap through scalable digital solutions."
The collaboration between Entitled Solutions and the Telangana State TB Cell underscores a shared commitment to leveraging technology for social impact. By harnessing the power of digital innovation, eKure seeks to enhance healthcare accessibility, reduce disease burden, and contribute to India's efforts in combating TB on a national scale.
As eKure's TB screening tool undergoes initial pilot testing, the platform anticipates scaling its services to reach vulnerable populations across India, thereby advancing the vision of a healthier, more equitable society.
