DavaIndia, India’s largest private generic pharmacy chain, has introduced its new multilingual pharmacy app in Varanasi, marking a significant step in transforming affordable healthcare access. This is India’s first pharmacy platform that fully supports medicine ordering in 14 regional languages, promoting inclusivity and accessibility across language barriers.

The app offers a wide range of over 2,000 products, primarily focused on cost-effective, high-quality generic alternatives to branded medicines. Users can search by brand name, composition, or category, upload prescriptions, and opt for 60-minute home delivery or 10-minute in-store pickup. The platform combines user-friendly tech with essential healthcare services, including free consultations with licensed doctors, prescription uploads, medication reminders, and pharmacist support via app, helpline, or WhatsApp.

With a strong retail footprint in Uttar Pradesh—3 company-owned and 5 franchise outlets in Varanasi alone—DavaIndia has expanded its digital reach across 15 states and 60+ cities. It now services over 226 pin codes in UP, strengthening its commitment to “Swasth Bharat, Samruddh Bharat.”

Dr. Sujit Paul, Group CEO of Zota Healthcare Ltd., highlighted that this initiative aims to democratize healthcare by merging affordability, speed, and accessibility. This launch is more than just technological innovation; it’s a step toward nationwide healthcare transformation, making wellness inclusive and accessible to all Indians, regardless of income or language.
