Birla Fertility & IVF, India’s third-largest and fastest-growing fertility network, has inaugurated its first centre in Jalandhar, marking its second facility in Punjab and 51st nationwide. He highlighted the alarming reality that while nearly 28 million Indian couples face fertility issues, only 1% pursue treatment. The new Jalandhar centre seeks to bridge this gap by enhancing local accessibility to advanced fertility solutions.

Dr. Sukriti Sharma, Centre Head, noted that infertility remains a sensitive issue in Punjab due to cultural norms. With high incidences of PCOS, male infertility, and lifestyle-related conditions, there’s a growing need for specialised care.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology and a team of skilled experts, the Jalandhar facility will provide services like IVF, ICSI, IUI, egg freezing, and treatments for conditions such as tubal blockages and low sperm/egg count. The centre also focuses on sexual wellness and managing PCOS and cervical cancer.
