Allcargo Group, a prominent global logistics conglomerate rooted in India, has undertaken a series of initiatives aimed at raising awareness about women's healthcare and rights. Across its skill development centers in Mumbai, the company has organized various activities to ensure the health and well-being of women while championing their achievements and advocating for gender equality.

At the Allcargo Skill Development Training Centre in Dhamni, Panvel, a comprehensive eye check-up camp was conducted in collaboration with Sankalp Manav Vikas Sanstha and Saad Foundation. A total of 136 women, including residents of Dhamni, surrounding villages, and local tribal communities, benefited from the camp, receiving free eye glasses and medical guidance for further treatments and surgeries.

According to a press release, the Belapur center, a special session was held to educate students about critical issues such as acid attacks, domestic violence, and the significance of empowering women through education and self-defense training. Alka Patil, Assistant Police Inspector, Central Unit, Crime Branch, Mumbai Police, graced the event as the chief guest.

In another endeavor, a rally was organized at the Ishwar Nagar center in Digha, Navi Mumbai, with support from Sankalp Manav Vikas Sanstha and Project Bala, to raise awareness on women's rights and gender equality. Concurrently, a health check-up camp distributed sanitary pads and provided healthcare guidance to teenage girls and women.

Furthermore, the Allcargo Women Empowerment and Livelihood Skill Development Training Centre in Bokadvira, Uran, Navi Mumbai, collaborated with Niramay Health Care Foundation to conduct a breast cancer screening and awareness camp. Additionally, sessions were held to increase awareness about diseases like tuberculosis and their preventive measures.

Dr. Nilratan Shende, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Allcargo Group, emphasized the pivotal role of women's empowerment in fostering inclusive societal and economic development. He reiterated the company's commitment to promoting women's rights and well-being, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Through these initiatives, Allcargo Group aims to make a meaningful impact at the grassroots level, ensuring that women are integral contributors to the nation's growth journey.
