The Atal Incubation Centre – Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (AIC-CCMB) in Hyderabad has announced a collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific, a leading provider of laboratory equipment and services.

This partnership aims to enhance the capabilities of AIC-CCMB’s Centre for Innovation (CoI) by integrating cutting-edge technology to support scientists and entrepreneurs in start-up ventures.

As per the agreement, Thermo Fisher will equip the Centre for Innovation with advanced platforms including the CellInsight CX7 LZR Pro High Content Screening Platform, KingFisher Flex automated nucleic purification system, and EVOS M7000 imaging system.

Additionally, the centre will be furnished with laboratory freezers, refrigerators, and thermal cyclers. These state-of-the-art tools are designed to facilitate research, drug discovery, and assay development across various fields including molecular biology, protein biology, cell biology, and cell analysis workflows.
