In a significant development aimed at enhancing healthcare services in Oman, Agilus Diagnostics has joined forces with SEAS International LLC to establish a cutting-edge referral laboratory in the country.

The strategic partnership, formalized in an agreement signing ceremony, is set to bring high-quality diagnostic testing services to Oman's 5 million-strong population.

The ceremony, held in the presence of Issa Saleh Abdullah Alshibani, the Ambassador of Oman in India, saw the participation of esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Ibrahim Aghaithi, Chairman of SEAS International LLC, and Ashish Bhatia, Chief Operating Officer of Agilus Diagnostics.

Dr. Aghaithi highlighted the potential growth of the in-vitro diagnostics market in Oman, projecting a revenue of US$99.07 million by 2024. He anticipates a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.32% from 2024 to 2028, leading to a market volume of US$108.60 million by 2028.

"With the rising prevalence of acute and chronic infectious diseases and a growing geriatric population, the demand for diagnostics and preventive health checks in Oman is expected to soar," added Dr. Aghaithi.
